I Thought I found someone to ease my troubled mind,
To end up with my past and leave it all behind.
Somehow I didn't notice that certain sadness in your eyes,
By the time I did your love already had gone by.

On my first night alone I worried that I would never find,
Someone like you again, another love of this kind.
The second I broke, oh for hours I have cried
,I cursed my heart and how it made me blind.

Just when I thought my idea of love was out of style,
