Misfits is a sonic road trip through the desert, from energetic rock to melancholic country songs. At every crossroad, new characters meet and reflect on different stages of their lives. Although desire, regret, love and grief leave their marks, they have no other choice than to keep moving to the next horizon.
The album is inspired by the last movie with Marilyn Monroe and Clark Gable, released in 1961. This movie is about outcasts looking for a connection and a place in society. The Stone Souls relate heavily to this quest for belonging. ‘Misfits’ takes you with them on their search, where the music tells their story.
